The National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) is proud to announce a new educational partnership with HUB, an Indara company, focused on knowledge sharing to drive better outcomes for Australia’s fastest-growing communities.
The NGAA and its members are leading the way in making connectivity an essential utility, ensuring fast-growing communities stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
HUB, a leader in public realm infrastructure, brings progressive expertise in the design, manufacture, and management of solutions that enable fast community-based connectivity.
This collaboration will connect NGAA’s deep understanding of the challenges facing outer metropolitan growth areas with HUB’s expertise in smart connectivity solutions. Through exchanging insights and experiences, we can improve ways of working between local government and industry, ultimately delivering improved outcomes for residents.
Together, NGAA and HUB will work together to understand how to deliver better outcomes for the community and have a more strategic approach to digital infrastructure provision.
Bronwen Clark, CEO of NGAA, emphasised that by uniting forward-thinking growth councils with industry leaders, this partnership has the potential to unlock new opportunities for smarter, more connected communities.
‘As the level of government closest to the community, councils bring essential local knowledge and ensure the community’s voice is represented at decision-making tables. This partnership with HUB will help ensure that industry gains a deeper understanding of the local context - ultimately positioning them to deliver more effective and community-aligned solutions,’ Ms. Clark said.
Adam Beck, General Manager for Business and Market Development at HUB, reiterated the importance of proactive local government involvement in the future planning of digital connectivity and the infrastructure that supports it. ‘We hope that this first of a kind public-private collaboration accelerates knowledge sharing and capability development for all parties, ultimately delivering better connectivity for the community,’ Mr Beck said.
This partnership is a testament to what’s possible when proactive local governments and industry leaders work together - driving real solutions that keep Australia’s fast-growing outer cities and suburbs connected and future-ready.
