NGAA Members are invited to join this strategic online Member Delegate Briefing, providing timely insights into key national policy developments shaping Australia’s growth areas.

This two-hour briefing will bring together analysis and commentary from NGAA and invited experts, with a focus on what recent policy announcements mean in practice for growth area councils and communities.

The session will cover:

  • A debrief of the Federal Budget, with a focus on funding, priorities and gaps relevant to growth areas
  • An overview of the 2025 Population Statement from the Centre for Population, including implications for planning, infrastructure delivery and service demand
  • A government relations and advocacy update from NGAA, outlining current priorities, engagement with the Federal Government, and opportunities for members to contribute to advocacy efforts
