Community profile
3.5 million people live in NGAA municipalities. NGAA includes 25
of the fastest growing areas in Australia. Collectively this is
nationally significant.
The NGAA Community Profile provides detailed information about
who lives in NGAA communities, how we live, where we live, where we
come from, and what we do. The data on which the studies are based
is taken from the ABS Census 2006, and shows trends over time with
some tables going back to 1991.
The NGAA Community Profile provides information about the 25
NGAA member municipalities as a whole, with comparisons to
Australia and to Metropolitan areas in each State. Individual
member Council profiles can also be accessed.
